1950 BSA A7 (w/BSA Owners Club Certification for frame & engine #s)
* Legally titled in Massachusetts
Asking Price $8000.00
Bike was purchased in CT in 2006, as far as I know I am the 4th owner. I have a few bills of sale and some of the repair and parts paperwork as part of the lineage of the bike.
All major components of the bike have been torn down and refurbished professionally or personally with the exception of the flywheel/bottom-end pistons, bottom-end bushings, and sump which I was advised not to disassemble until rebuild was sure to begin.
Rigid frame. Blasted and repainted, has minor damage to the bearing cup on top side. All frame pieces professionally repainted hi-gloss black. Fuel tank professionally blasted, cleaned, re-chromed and painted by Ross Thompson (Canada).
All chrome pieces are “Made In England” and have been professionally re-chromed.
All engine, gearbox, timing cases, top-end, carb housing have been professionally re-blasted (Don Hutchinson - MA) and polished. Engine has been checked for compression, re-bored, and new pistons are included (Don Hutchinson - MA)
Magneto, generator, speedometer all professionally refurbished.
All parts, fasteners, sundries are present and accounted for, some have been replaced and you are purchasing both original and replacement (ex. front forks, front fork seals, oil line filter, knee grips, etc.)
Some components have not been refurbished such as foot peg rubbers, hand controls, electric harness, oil and fuel lines. Some extra wheel bearings, special tools, Whitworth wrenches, tap-die sets, gasket sets, and assorted other tools INCLUDED!
I have well over a hundred photos of the components of the bike and am only including a few, I can provide or supply detailed photos on request.
Sale is final and comes with no warranties attached. No electronic payments of any kind. Payment by certified bank check only.
